A fully controlled process, from the extraction of the ore to the shipment, allowing Nacional de Grafite to produce a graphite with regularity and predictable performance. Each parameter has an important role in the performance of the natural crystalline graphite, some, such as its high level of crystallisation, are intrinsic to its nature, others such as purity, distribution and particle shape are worked to achieve higher performance.

The particle morphology is among the key parameters that will affect the manufacturing process and the performance of batteries.

The rheological characteristics of Grafmax provide better lubricity and processability properties of the active mass than synthetic graphite.
The distribution of the size of graphite particles will be a determining factor in the performance of batteries, due to its electrolyte absorption behaviour and the interaction with the EMD (Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide).

Nacional de Grafite uses grinding equipment and state-of-the-art classifiers, which along with its technical expertise on the subject, results in total control of this parameter.
